With the purpose of benefiting the inhabitants of 8 villages belonging to the municipalities of Sáchica and Villa de Leyva in Boyacá. A Socio-Economic characterization of different elements of the rural landscape was carried out, following the methodology of Rural Landscapes of the Andes Project of the Alexander von Humboldt Institute. We aimed to the identification of areas with conservation opportunities, based on the implementation of biological inventories and the identification of bioindicators for conservation.
