Dryflor Latin American Network
ExpiredDryFlor is made up of researchers and conservationists interested in expanding knowledge of the dry forest flora and promoting its conservation in Latin America.
In this program, we develop collaborative projects in partnership with other public/private, government and university institutions. We recognize that joining efforts between institutions allows projects to have a greater impact at the environmental, regional and social levels. In addition, partnerships between institutions often lead to the continuity of long-term projects on issues such as forest conservation.

The purpose of the agreement was to establish the bases of inter-institutional cooperation between Universidad del Norte and the ESC Foundation to develop research and extension projects in the field of ecology, conservation, management and ecosystem services of the tropical dry forest in the Colombian Caribbean.
Since 2013 the Humboldt Institute in partnership with different actors of the national territory has joined efforts to work on a research agenda and monitoring of the dry forest in Colombia under three general guidelines
