The objective of the agreement was to establish the basis for reciprocal cooperation in the promotion and realization of activities of common interest, such as exchanges in the academic, scientific and student fields, research projects and exchange of information. Among the activities carried out was the establishment and monitoring of a permanent plot of vegetation of 1 hectare (2.5 acres), of dry forest in the department of North Santander.
